Question: How much are your shipping charges?
Answer: To insure you don't pay more than necessary, aSpecialGift.com uses a dynamic shipping calculator that
automatically calculates the shipping cost based on the delivery zip code and the weight of your package.
aSpecialGift.com uses UPS and the US Postal Service to ship orders. Our lowest shipping charge is $3.50
(US orders under 8 oz.) via First Class Mail and $4.40 (US Zone 1 & 2 orders under 1 lb.) via Priority Mail . You will
be offered a choice of some or all of the following options during checkout based on weight and delivery location:
UPS Next Day Air
UPS 2nd Day Air
UPS 3 Day Select
US First Class Mail
US Priority Mail
US International Priority Mail
Follow these steps to obtain the shipping costs for your order prior to checkout:
1. Add your item or items to the shopping cart.
2. While on the Shopping Cart page you will see 3 input boxes at the top for Ship To City, Zip & Country.
3. Enter the Ship to City, Zip Code and Country then click on the Submit Button.
4. The next page will list the shipping options available with the cost for each and the number of business days it will take for your
order to be delivered from the day you place your order.
5. You can then return to the Shopping Cart where you can Continue Shopping or go to Secure Check Out.
Question: Do orders that are personalized ship in 48 hours or does the personalization take longer?
Answer: aSpecialGift.com specializes in personalizing and shipping your order in 48 hours. If there is a stock
availability issue with your order, we will notify you by email (if you provided an email address) or by phone.
Orders that contain multiple items may take longer than 48 hours. If you need to receive an order by a certain
date, please advise us of that date in the Comments & Special Instructions box during checkout.
Question: How long will it take me to receive my order.
Answer: We strive to ship your order in within 48 hours. Therefore, US orders will be delivered in 3-7 business days
based on your zip code and the shipping option you choose. Canadian orders can take up to 2-3 weeks and Drop
Ship orders (items that ship directly from the manufacturer) also have longer delivery times. Drop Ship items are
clearly marked on the web site. The Shipping Options table during check out will display Days to Delivery from the
date you place your order based on the shipping option you select. The Days to Delivery can also be obtained using
the Shipping Calculator on the Shopping Cart page. aSpecialGift.com cannot be responsible for delivery problems with your order. Please double check the address, including apartment numbers, floors etc.Packages returned to us because of non-delivery will incur a charge to your credit card when they are shipped out again.
Question: Where do you ship from?
Answer: We ship from Leland, NC which is just outside of Wilmington, NC.
Question: How can I see what my personalization is going to look like?
Answer: We currently do not have a preview option on our website. However, we are happy to email you a picture of what your personalization will look like before we complete your order. We will make any change you would like and will not complete your order until you approve the setup. If you would like us to do this, just put "Please email proof before completing order" in the Special Instructions box during checkout next to where you enter your credit card information.
Question: What if I am not happy with my purchase?
Answer: We have a satisfaction guaranteed policy. If you are not happy with your purchase, we will make every
effort to rectify your complaint up to and including refunding your money. We cannot be responsible for incorrect
information provided on your order, so please be sure to carefully check all dates and spellings. Gifts that are
personalized incorrectly due to a customer error cannot be refunded, otherwise a web site credit will be given for
all personalized orders. Complaints must be made within 10 days of receipt of your purchase. See Store Polices for
Question: Will my email address or phone number be given or sold to other companies?
Answer: No. Email addresses and phone numbers are only used for contact information. We need to be able to
contact you if we have questions with your order and we also email a notice when your order is shipped. If you
do not provide an email, you will not receive an order confirmation or shipping notice. We may from time to time
email you offers or promotional information. You will be able to opt out and no further information will be emailed
Question: Can I pay by check or money order?
Answer: No. aSpecialGift.com currently only accepts Credit Card and Paypal payments only.
Question: Should I be concerned about entering my credit card information on-line?
Answer: Our checkout uses a Networks Solutions Secure Certificate which provides secure encryption for all credit
card transactions. When you go to the checkout you will receive a little lock icon displayed in your browser. This
confirms that the information is being encrypted and cannot be intercepted by a 3rd party.
Question: How is my credit card information stored.
Answer: We do not store credit card number, therefore, your credit card number can not be hacked by a third party.
Question: Do you ship to APO addresses?
Answer: Yes via US Priority Mail. Select US for the Ship to Country
Question: Do you ship internationally?
Answer: aSpecialGift.com currently ships to the US including APO's, and US Territories, Australia, Canada the United Kingdom, Ireland and Germany.
